Austin Bat Cave Summer Session 2008

During Summer 2008, The Austin Bat Cave's Creative Writing Summer Camp students joined the University of Texas' Writing Center to create a new forum for their work. The Undergraduate Writing Center teamed up with ABC to offer the students experience with different kinds of creative technology and new venue of publication. The students translated their creative vision into music, images, and their own voice recordings - a project we termed a 'pagecast.'

Austin Bat Cave (ABC) is a non-profit organization (501c3) that provides children and teenagers (ages 6-18) with opportunities to develop their creative and expository writing.

Their program connects a diverse population of young writers and learners with a vibrant community of adult volunteers in Austin.
