This is one of our presentations on writing research papers, specifically oriented towards classes in the humanities. It deals with choosing a topic, selecting and evaluating sources, doing research, structuring the paper, and documentation.
Personal Statements:
This presentation gives general strategies and advice on writing application essays for college, scholarships, graduate school, or professional degree programs. It is intended as a jumping off point for thinking strategically about your essay; you should always consider the specifics of your given situation as well, as writing an essay for admission to an undergraduate college is quite different from writing one for admission into medical school, for instance.
